The tapered shape of the ear cups ensures a perfect fit around the ear and minimizes pressure points, no matter what you are wearing. The familiar wide opening encircles the entire ear and prevents pressure points on the edges of the ear. The steel headband follows the shape of the head for better weight distribution and less side pressure.
