The RAM Mounts GDS®vehicle charging station for tablets in IntelliSkin® charging/protective cases is based on a tension spring-supported cradle, ideal for quick removal of the device. For unauthorised removal and as a deterrent, the cradle is fitted with a locking system at the rear. The open design offers easy access to the device and yet it is securely fastened. This charging cradle is compatible with the Apple iPad Pro 12.9 in an IntelliSkin® charging/protective case .

A microUSB interface is provided for external power connection. The GDS® technology integrated in the charging cradle enables charging of inserted devices and still allows easy access during the charging process.
