The rescueMe PLB1 can be operated with one hand even in the most challenging situations. A simple spring-loaded flap covers the activation button, preventing accidental use. The built-in, ultra-bright strobe light ensures maximum visibility. The antenna is easily deployed with just a light pull to facilitate activation. When activated, the rescueMe PLB1 transmits your location and ID via a satellite connection to a rescue coordination center. Emergency services in your area are immediately notified of your emergency and initiate the search and rescue process. The rescueMe PLB1 features a unique attachment clip and a floatation pouch: it can be securely attached to your bag using the included lanyard.
